Questions

AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) can only be expressed in a person who has contracted HIV, but a positive HIV test does not mean that a person has contracted AIDS. AIDS is a long-term illness that over time weakens the immune system to the point that it has difficulty fighting off infection. General information about AIDS is fairly common knowledge these days. General knowledge cannot be equated with safety, however, as only 70% of people infected know of their disease (http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/partners/PSP/Goal2.htm).
