MAIN TEACHING INTERESTS:

EBIO328 Evolution of Genes & Genomes . The course covers both the study of evolution and genomics, and the importance of genomic studies for medicine. Thus, basic evolutionary biology and population genetics as well as recent findings regarding genome evolution will be presented. Finally, we will discuss technical, conceptual, legal and ethical aspects of the genome sciences and how the discipline is expected to help understand human disease.

EBIO 561 / 563  - Topics in Evolution (Evolution Journal Club) - Review and discussion of the literature on current research in evolution.
