laboratories would be happy to involve senior undergraduate students in research, provided they can dedicate a significant amount of time to the

Research Experience for
Undergraduates
| A program sponsored by the
National Science Foundation. This has many internships in a variety of science
disciplines. To apply to any of these programs, go to the REU Sites page, choose
your discipline, and view the various programs available for that discipline. Contact (by
email or otherwise) the program heads for the programs that you want to apply to. Ask for
an application and more information. If you are a freshman, you should ask if freshman are
accepted to their program. |
| The REU
program at Rice University is put in place by the Rice
Quantum Institute. There are a number of research
opportunities available through this program which includes any
professor who are part of the RQI program. RQI is an
institute which brings together professors from numerous
departments with a shared interest in Applied Physics. See
their webpage for more detailed information about RQI and their
REU program for the summer. |
