Rice MBA International Management Club

We have planned an exciting agenda for the coming year.  From helping international students find summer internships to establishing an international trip for the students, the IMC is determined to make global business a priority at the Jones School.

IMC Mentorship Program

Entering business school is a challenge for many students.  For international students, it can be even more daunting.   The IMC is providing mentors for incoming international students to help them ease into their first year of business school.  Mentors offer fresh and invaluable advices to these students.  For more information about the mentorship program, please contact Khusboo Gupta. 

Part of our mentorship program includes providing career resources for international students.  The IMC officers have worked with the Career Planning Center to provide information on curricular practical training.  The link below takes you to the documents that provide more information.

IMC International Trip

International trip offers Rice MBA students the opportunity to travel to global business centers in Asia or Europe to meet with other international business schools and global business leaders.  Students interested in this global opportunity will meet with top management at multinational companies and world-renowned professors at top universities. 

Last year inaugural trip was to the best Latin American Business school located in Monterrey, Mexico.   Participants of the trip enjoyed lectures from distinguished faculty and company presentations from multinational corporations.  For more information, please visit the international trip page. 

IMC Partio Event

International Partio scheduled in January expects to bring out the international flair that the Jones School has to offer.  Sample foods from different regions around the world and learn about the exciting cultures of our diverse student body.  If you are interested in participating in the event please contact Doyel Bhattacharya.
