Hi CSA!

If you're staying on campus (or close by) for Thanksgiving, come to Jones Kitchen on Friday 11/27 at 5PM to make and eat some yummy dumplings! You know we always love to give free food, but it'll taste especially good when it's homemade by you and your friends!

We'll provide all the supplies and ingredients, so you just need to bring yourselves. No prior cooking or dumpling skills required. C:

If you're coming, make sure to sign up on the form here! And be sure to RSVP to the FB event to stay updated.

3/21 Restaurant Trip

March 13 , 2015Posted by Adam

Hey CSA!

How do fresh-made noodles, steamed buns, and dumplings/potstickers sound? What about a $2 *or more* subsidy to boot? You're in luck--you'll get both at the CSA restaurant trip to San Dong Noodle House this Saturday, 3/21! Sign up here :D

Back to the subsidy--If it's your first time with us, you'll get a $2 subsidy. If you've been to our previous restaurant trips, be sure to bring your CSA frequent diner card for an additional dollar off for each restaurant trip attended, up to a total of $4 off! :D And, as always, drivers get a $5 subsidy!

And a few more notes--We will be leaving from the RMC circle drive at 5pm on Saturday, 3/21; if this time isn't good for you, let us know on the form! As a heads up--San Dong Noodle House is a cash-only establishment, so BRING CA$H. Check out the restaurant here!

Wishing you all a great week!

CSA restaurant trip form! :DD

Sep 17, 2014Posted by X

Hey CSA!

This is Hannah Chen, your EVP--one of my jobs is to coordinate restaurant trips, and I'd love for you to join us for our first restaurant trip of the year! Anyone is welcome--just be one of the first 28 to sign up on the google form here--you'll also have the option of suggesting some of the dishes to order! :D

As you may know, there is no membership fee this year--instead we'll just have a frequent diner program which is only $5 to join. For this first trip, you'll receive a $2 subsidy, and for each subsequent restaurant trip you attend, you'll get one more dollar off, up to $5 off per restaurant trip! Drivers will always receive $5 off. For those who are drivers AND frequent diners, they will receive $6 when driving, and their attendance is counted so that they receive frequent diner benefits when not driving as well! Unsubsidized meals are expected to be about $10, which is very reasonable for a large family-style FEAST of spicy (and non-spicy) Sichuan cuisine!

Even if you can't make it this time, I'd love know what restaurants you'd like to CSA to host restaurant trips to! Just list them out here!

And, don't forget to invite your friends to the Facebook event!

Best,

Hannah Chen
