The Rice University Hong Kong Student Association is dedicated to providing a support network for Hong Kong students at Rice, promoting awareness of the Hong Kong culture, and establishing links between alumni and current Rice students.

The Rice HKSA was founded by Ms. Janet Liu, an exchange student from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She stayed at Rice during the 2002-2003 school year and had a vision of promoting the Hong Kong culture to the Rice community. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Janet for this wonderful idea and for all her help in making this possible.
