Title: Reflections on Bolivia
Location: Bolivia
Program: Universidad de Chile, Santiago, Chile
Institute for Study Abroad - Butler University, Spring 2003
Description: I took this while on a four-day Jeep tour of the Salar of Bolivia, the largest salt plain in the world. I have never before seen such beautiful pastels in nature, or such blue skies. We stopped here to rest a bit and, of course, I couldn't resist taking a picture.

Title: Western Sunset
Location: Western Australia
Program: University of Melbourne, Australia, Spring 2003
Description: This photograph was taken on my last night in Western Australia. We had spent 10 days camping under the stars and enjoying the beauty of nature. During that time, our schedules were completely dictated by the sun and available light. Watching the changing colors of the sun as it set that night, I was reminded that there are no substitutes or comparisons to nature's beauty.

Description: Lizards are a common site in Costa Rica. They can be seen not just at the rainforest and the beach, but small ones sneak into houses and larger ones enjoy the water of the hotel pool. Here one scurries across a bridge at a nature park just outside the urban capital of San JosČ.
