You have a class school, and it was great having you at our stadium again this year. To Joe Bob Thompson, please don't think we were making fun of your name because we were not! It's just different from what we are used to hearing here in Michigan and you were a great sport about it. Believe me I know because I am a woman and my name is Kyle so I get all kinds of responses no matter where I am. To the football team, you never let up and gave it your all, actually I was glad that you scored, made the trip worth it for you. To the band, you were Great! Our seats are just above where you were during the game and it was so much fun watching you having fun! Your half time show was GREAT! It took alot of work and someone with great minds to come up with that!!! You were all the talk after the game while tailgaiting, everyone loved it!! Also, when a few of our band members came over and played for you in the second half you could tell how much you cared and appreciated it. We are so used to seeing typical marching bands, your band was very refreshing!! The faculty, coaches and all of Rice University should be very proud of all of you. Good luck on the rest of the season.
