determines based on two midterms (25% each), homework (25%), and final
(25%).

take-home, pledged, timed, closed book/notes.

Homework will be
due each Tuesday at 11am. It can be turned in to
me in class, or in box outside my office. This will be the best way to
learn the material, and I recommend doing as many extra problems as
possible. Late homework will not be accepted, but the lowest homework
grade will be dropped. Homework is not pledged, so it is encouraged that
you work with others on solving the problems, but each person must write up their own homework.
