Born in Atlanta, Christy has a varied background in the arts. With
background in dance and sculpture, she has recently branched into the
world of performance art and interdisiplinary collaborations. Her
interest in performance art crested when she attended the 1997
Performance Art Conference, where she saw Rachel Rosenthal perform.
Inspired by Rosenthal's incredible persona and workshop, she
collaborated with other artists to create, "A Day on the Moon," which
integrated improvisational dance and music, with video projection. She
has won awards in her field of study including an interdisciplinary arts
grant from the Arts Council of Knoxville, TN. After moving to Houston in the fall of 1998. Christy joined AlienNation Co. for the creation of "Migbot." Her recent professional work includes:
