Our Mission:
Our organization is dedicated to integrating social justice issues (at a global and local level) into the daily lives of Rice students. We hope that there will be a mutual exchange created between the Rice community and the greater global citizenry. Our organization wishes to do this through the following components:
disseminating of knowledge of health disparities and facilitating change in equalizing health care access mobilizing minorities and immigrants through literacy training and acculturation assistance bringing attention to the potential injustices that may be created by globalization and planning campaigns to help alleviate their effects working in conjunction with Oxfam America to further their goals of creating self-sustaining development at a community level
