Of the sites listed in the print version of the 1997 ACLS Occasional Paper No. 37 (online version available here, however the links listed online differ slightly from those published in the paper version. Information regarding the online appendix coming soon.):
- 39 of the 110 were valid as listed
- 87 were accessible in one way or another, either through the listed URL or an equivalent that sometimes required substantial effort and internet familiarity to obtain
- 23 had been updated in 2005; 31 in 2004, 6 in 2003, 3 in 2002, 5 in 2001, and the remainder had not been updated in the last four years or had not indicated their last update (11 sites). 14 projects were defunct, and about half a dozen have been subsumed into other projects. Two projects were completed.
