Tissue Engineering Laboratories

Two laboratory courses focused on tissue engineering have been developed and implemented in the undergraduate curriculum. In the first lab (BIOE 342), student learn sterile technique and conduct attachment, proliferation and viability experiments using mammalian cells. In the second lab (BIOE 442), students focus on the application of tissue culture techniques to a tissue engineering challenge.
