Veggie Club is the most publicity-driven organization on campus, and it's one of the reasons we're the largest non-religious non-ethnic club around. The food is obviously the real reason, but the publicity is important in reaching people who might otherwise be turned off by their preconceived notions of vegetarianism. It's hard to estimate, but roughly one-half to three-fourths of our members are not committed vegetarians, so the publicity is essential in making sure we reach a wide audience.
There are two forms of publicity - regular and special event. The regular publicity includes things like the posters and the mailing list. The special events are the opportunity to reach people beyond those who don't pay attention to us normally.
