Using the greater Houston area watershed as a focal point, educators work to increase student and public awareness of the variables that affect and control watershed issues.  Our goal is to work with students to construct a watershed database and water quality research network among schools in the greater Houston area.  In doing this, we enhance student and community understanding of water quality variables and wetland characteristics. It is our hope that the community as a whole will be empowered to address major areas of concern regarding watershed issues.
