Welcome |
Rice University Mystic Inspirations (RUMI) is newly found organization which aims to support primarily Rice University people in the aspects of spirituality, emotion and Sufism. Any participation is greatly encouraged and as can be seen from our motto (above) we’re basically open to anyone interested. Here’s our weekly schedule: Sufism and the spiritual path
Time: 7:00 pm
Date: Wednesday, February 23rd
Location: Room 107 (1st floor, on the corner) in the Keith Weiss Geology Building.
This is located two buildings north of the Rice Student Center between the M.D. Anderson Biology Lab and the Space Science Building. The door will be propped open, just come inside.
This Week's Topic: Shukr (Thankfulness)
True thankfulness in one's heart is manifested through the conviction and acknowledgment that all bounties are from God, and then ordering one's life accordingly
