Directions and Parking

Hanszen College is located on the campus of Rice University in the southern residential quad. Maps and information for all parking lots and campus buildings may be found on the university's website. Hanszen College is building #26.

General admission ticket-holders

Please park underground in the Central Campus Garage. When you enter, DO NOT TAKE A TICKET AT THE GATE. Use the call box to contact the attendant and tell him you are parking for Ruddigore. Use the same procedure when you leave after the show. If you park in a different lot or if you take a ticket to enter the garage, we cannot validate your parking.

The easiest access to the garage is from Entrance 20 off Rice Blvd. After entering campus, turn right at the second stop sign and the garage entrance will be on your left.

Rice students, faculty, and staff

If space is available, you may park in the Main Street Lot or use your proximity card to access the Allen Center Lot. Please do not park in the nearby college lots. If these close-in lots are full, the nearest parking is in the West Lot.

Campus shuttle service is not typically available after the show or at certain times during the weekend. Free parking for the general public is available in the Greenbriar Lot. Please contact the house manager if you have special parking needs or questions not addressed above.
