February ? -- Kathy Ensor will confirm date for Joel Schwartz. She will try to coordinate with the Environmental Club (Mike Ford, Jessica Cohen, and Maria Stalford). She would like to arrange for 4pm on a Monday since this is a good departmental colloquium time.

March 4 -- Lecture: Environmental Ethics and Ecological Science , J. Baird Callicott (4:00 PM, Sewall Hall 309)

Paul Harcombe indicated that EEB and EPSC will jointly sponsor Callicott.

March 15 -- Deadline for application for Biosphere 2 stipend for Summer 1999 (June 7 - August 13, 1999). Notification of awards will be made by April 1. Intend to select 10 interns and 2 alternates.
