Civic Scientist

The Civic Scientist Lecture Series is a collection of talks by the leading scientists who have impacted public policy. The goal of the series is to expose scientists and future scientists to the idea that their roles expand outside of the laboratory. It will also give an opportunity to let the general public see eloquent scientists discuss their fields, hopefully promoting science and techonology as a public good, and worthy of federal, state, and local funding.
