2010 LACUS Conference



The 2010 annual meeting of LACUS will be held July 20-24, 2010, at McMaster University located in Hamilton, Ontario, at the western end of Lake Ontario.

Conference theme: Communication and Cognition: Multidisciplinary Perspectives

The program will include papers on a broad range of approaches to language, including interdisciplinary topics and innovative ideas.

Venue

McMaster University is close to downtown Hamilton, Ontario, at the western end of Lake Ontario. The population of Hamilton is about half a million. Attractions include the African Safari, the Marine Discovery Centre, and the famous Hamilton Farmers Market, part of Hamilton's history since 1837

Travel

Hamilton has a small airport but is also reachable from either the Toronto Airport or the Buffalo, New york, Airport.

The due date for abstracts is January 31, 2010.
