Tianhong Dai, Ph.D.

Dr. Dai left the lab in February of 2006. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Boston at Wellman Labs at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. His webpage while a post-doc at Rice is provided below.

My research focuses on heat transfer, mass transfer, fluid mechanics, and the corresponding optical measurement techniques (LDV, Tomography). Currently I am working with Dr. Bahman Anvari in the Department of Bioengineering at the Rice University on the project involving heat transfer during laser irradiation in conjunction with cryogenic spray cooling for the treatment of dermatological disorders.

Research Interests: Heat and mass transfer, bio-heat transfer, fluid mechanics, fluidized bed, two-phase flow, heat exchanger, drying, optical measurement, and mathematical simulation
