Welcome to Dr. Anvari's lab in the Department of Bioengineering at Rice University. The research activities carried out in our laboratory under the guidance of Dr. Bahman Anvari are directed towards the use of optical technologies in bioengineering. They encompass work at cellular and subcellular levels to study cell membrane electromechanics and molecular binding, and also at tissue level to develop methodologies for diagnostic and treatment of specific pathological conditions.
