Do you really love a particular photo? Prints can be ordered of all the "film" finalists, and prints of some "digital" submissions may also be purchased (depending on the size you want).

Contact Vicki Seefeldt West (vickisw@rice.edu) with the name of the photo and size you would like to order. All profits will be used to directly support student travel abroad for study, work, or volunteer purposes.

A walk through this exhibit is a mini-tour of the world, representative of the experiences Rice students have had while abroad. Here you have the chance to drive the streets of Vietnam, make friends with locals in Mongolia, and stand by the shores of a beautiful lake in Australia. These experiences from the mundane to the extraordinary are part of what makes time abroad so profoundly life-changing for so many Rice students.

As profound as they are, these very experiences can be the most difficult to convey upon returning home. With this in mind, the goal of the International Programs Photo Contest and this exhibit is to help students share the people, places, things and (just as importantly) intangibles of an experience abroad with the greater Rice community.

Over 200 amazing photos were submitted this year, and the judging was difficult. The photographs displayed were judged to be among the best.
