This photograph was taken in the Gothic Chamber at the Town Hall in Bruges, Belgium. This building sits on the main square. Bruges is an amazing medieval town. Many of its historical buildings and sites are perfectly preserved. Walking through the town is like traveling through time with its cobblestone lanes and stone bridges arching over the rivers that wind through town. I coincidentally ran into fellow Rice student Mike Schwartz at an internet café in Bruges. We had a great time sharing stories over local brews.
