The town of Sidi Bon Said has a very interesting history. In the 1800's an English architect took on the project of redesigning the city. He chose to decorate all the buildings with two colors: white and blue. Now all of the houses, cafes, and stores bear the same color scheme as in the photo. The building in the photo is of a café that sits at the top of the hill in Sidi Bon Said. It overlooks the beautiful coastline, and the entrance (at the bottom right) serves as a gateway between a busy street and a gorgeous view. While walking along the street, one sees only buildings and white walls enclosing the path, but upon walking through that doorway, one enters a different world.
