| Parked and Ready
My car and bike parked in the Lee High School Annex lot before the ride.
 | Ready to Start
We're waiting at the starting line for the Mayor of Baytown to start the
      ride.
 | Approach to the Bridge
My fellow riders and I approach the Fred Hartmann Bridge in the far distance.
 |

    | Starting to Climb
We're starting to climb the Fred Hartmann Bridge; note the riders already
      having problems with flats.
 | Refineries Everywhere
After the Fred Hartmann Bridge we passed by every refinery and chemical
      plant in Baytown.
 | The Monument?
The San Jacinto Monument is looming in the far background on our way to
      the Ferry.
 |

    | Waiting for the Ferry
The bikers line up waiting to get on the Lynchburg Ferry; the first rest
stop is to the right. I ate my Powerbars and drank the Gatorade from my
      bike pack.
 | Crossing the San Jacinto River
On the Lychburg Ferry crossing the San Jacinto River. About 50-75 bikers
      were on each trip.
 | Through the Highlands
After crossing IH 10 we made our way through the streets of Highlands.
 |

    | Second Rest Stop
The second rest stop on Wallisville Road; I carbed up on bananas and Gatorade.
 | The Third Leg
On the third leg of the ride, feeling pretty good.
 | House With Azaleas
I passed a beautiful old-style white house with a front porch, columns,
      and azaleas out front.
 |

    | The Third Rest Stop
The Boy Scouts of Baytown manned the third rest stop. The end is near!
 | Flags Fly High
Before leaving on the final leg of the ride I snapped this photo of the
flags flying high over the rest stop.
 | Getting Passed
On the last leg of the ride bikers were passing me.
 |

    | That Bridge Again
As we got closer to the finish line the Fred Hartmann Bridge began to loom
      again in the distance.
 | Finished!
Another rider snapped this photo of me after I made the wrong turn and missed
      the finish line.
 | Finished Again!
Another photo of me after the ride.

    | Westminster Presbyterian
The sign in front of Westminster Presbyterian on Bayway Drive. I helped
my Dad build this sign when I was a kid, don't remember how old.
 | Car and Church
My car in front of Westminster Presbyterian. It's much the same as the last
time I was there, for my Dad's funeral.
