Halina Ablamowicz is Assistant Professor of English at Tennessee Technological University.

Sally Boss is one of the founders of Sarmatian Review.

Justyna Beinek received her PhD from Harvard in 2001. She specializes in Russian and Polish literature, and is a Mellon Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures, the University of Toronto, Canada.

Andrzej Bursa is a Polish poet and cult figure among the young of the present generation.

Robert Cherry is Murray Koppelman Professor of Economics at Brooklyn College and a frequent contributor to Jewish-Polish dialogue.

Kevin Christianson is a poet and Professor of English at Tennessee Technological University.

Tomasz Dadlez is a graduate of Syracuse University. He is also a Gulag survivor and a veteran of the Polish Army-in-exile in the Second World War.

Kevin Hannan is Assistant Professor of English at the University of Łódź, Poland.

Jan Kieniewicz is Professor of History at the Polish Academy of Sciences and at the Research Center for the Study of the Tradition of Antiquity (OBTA) in Warsaw. He is the author of numerous books (the most recent is reviewed in the BOOKS section). He is also Poland’s former Ambassador to Spain and recipient in 1994 of La Cruz Grande de la Orden de Isabel la Catolica.

Joseph A. Kotarba is Professor of Sociology at the University of Houston.

Jan Lechoń (pen name of Leszek Serafimowicz) is a Polish poet who left Poland in 1940 and never returned to Soviet-occupied Poland.

Jonathan Ludwig is Senior Lecturer in Russian at Rice University.

Czesław Miłosz is a Polish poet and writer. He received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1980.

Anita Shelton is Professor of History and Chair of the Department of History at Eastern Illinois University.

Lillian Vallee is an award-winning translator and poet. Among her works is a volume of poetry, a handful of snow, and numerous translations of Czesław Miłosz’s works. She teaches at Modesto Junior College.
