Summer 1995 Study at the Catholic University of Lublin
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee sponsors a five-week program in historic Lublin, with an intensive course in Polish language (125 hours of classroom time) at beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. Time: July 12-August 15, 1995. Price: $2,365 for five weeks, all inclusive (air fare Chicago-Warsaw, group travel in Poland, accommodations and meals in Poland, university classes and entertainment). Graduates of this course are eligible for five credit hours at UWM.
Also available is a three-week course in Polish language and two-week course in business Polish.

Mikos Receives NEH Grant
Michael J. Mikos, Professor of Polish at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, received a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities for the academic year 1995/96, to prepare for publication a comprehensive anthology of Polish Renaissance literature.

Polish Genealogical Society of Texas Thrives The Society publishes a huge Newsletter and is seriously engaged in genealogical research. Those interested should write to PGST, 15917 Juneau, Houston, Texas 77040-2155.
