Jerzy Harasymowicz (1933-1999) was a Polish poet known for his folklore-influenced and neologism-prone language.

BoÏena Karwowska is Associate Professor of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of British Columbia.

Anna Muller is a graduate student in history at Indiana University.

James E. Reid is a Canadian writer. His “Polish Espionage” letter in the Times Literary Supplement refutes the imputation that KapuÊciƒski assisted espionage activities in Soviet-occupied Poland.
