Near the Ulm Pishkin
by William Kendall
Location : Ulm Pishkin, Montana
Program : In the Footsteps of Lewis and Clark
Description : The Ulm Pishkin is a cliff the early natives used to help kill buffalo by driving them over the cliff's edge. Today at this isolated spot we can experience what people meant by the term “Big Sky” when referring to Montana. The teepees evoke some feeling of what it might have been like to be in this beautiful spot in the days before Lewis and Clark arrived.
