2014 SWCS Symposium information:

The Spring Symposium of the Southwest Catalysis Society will be held on April 25, 2014 on the Univ. of Houston campus.

Charlie Campbell - Univ. of Washington, Burwell Lecturer of the North American Catalysis Society

Chris Jones, Georgia Tech, Emmett Award winner of the North American Catalysis Society

Pat Brant, ExxonMobil, metallocene catalysis

Rob Rioux, Penn St. Univ.

Other speakers to be named later. There will also be a poster session for students/postdocs with awards. Further details will follow.

CALL FOR AWARDS NOMINATIONS, 2014 Southwest Catalysis Society Award for Excellence in Applied Catalysis.

Nominations are open.

The award will be presented at our April 25, 2014 Spring meeting at Univ. of Houston.
