Fast Warp - Current Gaming Groups

Fast Warp Gaming Bulletin Board (as of Fall 2002)

Note the information posted is the limit of what the GM would like listed, and this page exists solely for the promotion of games occurring at Rice. We simply cannot dedicate the resources to promote any and all gaming in the area; thankfully, there is too much.

Lurkers? ?
Remarks Tharizdun, the dark god of madness and Entropy, was imprisoned in the ages past, and seeks freedom. His followers scheme and plot in secret, aided by the lack of knowledge the world in general has of He of Eternal Darkness. It will be up to the PCs to stop this plan and save creation from destruction. But for now, they're neck-deep in goblins, kobolds, and apples--EVIL apples. The Return will be a campaign about saving the world and having a good chuckle or two (or three) along the way. It will be largely PC-driven, but with enough of a plot to give something to drive ON.

Lurkers? ?
Remarks

"Hoi Omae! Scan this. You got da skills to score some wiz cred if you're willing ta risk your hoop. You know, running the shadows and drek. I know a guy..."
- Six Caps, Ork Ganger and novice Fixer

Come join the excitement walking the gray line between right and wrong in the dark future of Shadowrun, where cyberpunk meets magic in the rain-slick alleyways of Seattle in the year 2063. This is an open campaign in which each player has a trio of characters to choose from. The inactive characters gain experience at a reduced rate, but stand ready to take the field if the other character dies or the player gets bored. It should be a lot of fun!

NOTE: Unless you plan to run only archetype characters, I need character submissions at least one week in advance.

Also, be sure and check out the web page for the campaign.

Lurkers? ?
Remarks This is a Dark Ages Vampire campaign centering on the Crusades and the impact of this clash of cultures and religions on mortals and Cainites alike. A secondary theme will be dark secrets, particularly those relating to Kindred spirituality, mythology, and origins (ie, Book of Nod, etc.).

The game will begin in the Year of Our Lord 1197 in the city of Jerusalem. This is the final year of the truce between Richard Coeur de Leon and Salah al-din. Tensions are high in the city, as most residents know that hostilities will most likely resume when the truce expires. Salah al-din has died, and his heirs are warring over the succession. Currently, the Muslims control Jerusalem, but Christians are allowed to come on pilgrimage and dwell in the city. Jews are also permitted to live and worship in Jerusalem.
