Our Mailing List
Our mailing list is
not yet moderated by our Web Master, but we are ready and willing
to do so to reduce the flow of inappropriate e-mail traffic. It
is intended to be a gamer clearinghouse. You can subscribe
(or unsubscribe) yourself and modify your account settings via
the mailman web interface, but all subscriptions
must be approved by an owner and only list members can send
e-mail to the list, so there should be a minimum of junk-mail.
This list's purpose is only to be used to help gamers
find games to play in as well as an occasional notice from
the owners. If you have problems subscribing, please contact
us. Submissions to the list should resemble the following:

Hello, I need
some players for a game.
Game system:
please be specific, especially with multiple editions
as in D&D.
Special rules used: important things that are likely to affect a
player's choice.
Number of players: the minimum and maximum number you'll run.
Desired player skill level: e.g. novice, experienced, jaded.
Game day & frequency: e.g. every Saturday, every other Sunday,
etc.
Game time: list the approximate time window, e.g. 1600-2200 w/ dinner
break
Location: where do you plan to play?
Expected length of campaign (if appropriate): in real time, how long
will it run?
Short synopsis of campaign/game: this should be a couple of hundred
words or so; be thorough, but also try to be concise, as paradoxical
as that may sound to some.
Additional remarks: pretty much anything you think is important,
e.g. "I would like all of the players to remain in the game
for the duration of the campaign" vs. "The campaign will
be episodic, people can come and go as they please, provided I have
no more than six players in a given session."

These are only guidelines.
If you think something is important to mention, then bring it up.
Board and Card games will be less stringent. However, let's keep
traffic reasonable; mail to the list should be used to establish
a group, not for weekly requests for a one-shot event. |
