Fruit Salad
This recipe is something akin to fruit salad recipes preferred
in the Northwest Indian state of Gujarat. Of course, the fruits
and sweeteners used may vary, but the basic idea is the same.
This is far superior to typical American fruit salads. The recipe
is very simple, yet will blow your friends away.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk
- 4 cups cut fruit (apples, pineapples, bananas, oranges, etc)
- sorghum syrup, molasses, or honey to taste
- sweet spices like cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, ginger (opt)
Preparation
Mix it all up. For best results, let it set in the fridge for an hour
or so before serving.
