Who would you have a torrid affair with & why?
So I didn't answer this question on my roommate form. And then at the end of Freshman year I was interviewed for a college list serve. I don't think I actually knew who Edward Cullen was then, but now I do and I am definitely on Team Jacob. If you are not a Twilight fan here is why:

(from the list serve my freshman year)
7) Who would your torrid affair be? Interviewee: Torrid sounds like a dirty word. Suitemate: It is a dirty word! Interviewee: She doesn’t know who she would have sex with. Not Edward Cullen. The general dude from Mulan is pretty hot. Roommate: Who would have sex with a cartoon?!!

8) What is your greatest fear? Dropping things. Also apparently having a torrid affair…

Describe your ideal first date.
Hrmm... some of my favorite things are drinking tea, fire in fire places, swimming (especially skinny dipping), spooning, and being outside. So my ideal first date would be going for a hike and then coming back and drinking tea in front of a fire (real one), and then going skinny dipping (lets say its reallly reallly dark) and then cuddling. hrmm.. okay maybe not super first date ish but it would be an awesome date!

Describe your favorite Rice Ultimate moment.
Regionals my freshman year still holds a special place in my heart. I will always remember watching the Women's final (?) between WuWu and SluLu with Edith and Austine and being blown away by the high level of play. Besides the fact that two years later WE where playing in that game, the weekend confirmed for me that Rice Ultimate was going to be a big part of my Rice experience.

And then there are a lot of others. What stands out in my mind are a few of my layouts but those are more the icing on the cake of the general feeling of working so incredibly hard for your teammates and being willing to do whatever needs to be done to win the point/the game because you know your teammates are willing to do the same.

How did you decide to join Rice Ultimate?
I remember watching some pick-up ultimate Senior year of high school and thinking it looked cool. I remember my last lacrosse practice of high school being sad because I thought that after 7 years of playing a sport every season had run my last sprint of my team sports life. I was wrong. Freshman year at Rice I joined Rice Ultimate largely because I knew I would miss going to practice. I also played basically every intramural sport at Rice but since then have focused more on Ultimate because I LOVE it.
