Disney Cheers

Fall of 2004 marked a new era in Miss Red cheering. Gone were the erotic themes and dirty references. These new cheers hearken back to our idyllic childhood years of the Little Mermaid and The Jungle Book. Many thanks to Ellen Richter for remembering these and providing most of the creative inspiration.

The Pascal Cheer

Instead of confining this cheer to a single tournament, we use it at every opportunity. Inspired by Les Poissons from The Little Mermaid

Harvest Moon, October 2005: Miss Red v. A&M

While we were without either of our captains, A&M beat us 9-3. We still wowed them with this cheer, to Aladdin's A Whole New World.

You have shown us the huck.
Shining, spinning, and floating.
Higher, farther and longer than I've ever run before.

You have shut down our short.
Running, cutting and poaching.
A&M, you're our favorite team at Harvesst this year.

Regionals, April 2005: Miss Red v. WUWU

WUWU managed a narrow victory on the field, but that didn't stop us from winning in the cheer department. Wan'na Be Like You, The Jungle Book.
