The Rice Undergraduate! The Rice Undergraduate is a journal published by students that showcases outstanding papers written by the undergraduates of Rice University. Published annually during the Spring semester, The Undergraduate brings together a representative sample of the outstanding academic work done at Rice University. Papers chosen for publication come from a variety of disciplines and display different approaches to scholarship. Some of the papers make strides in highly specialized areas, whereas some accomplish the difficult task of communicating profound ideas in a manner accessible to all. It is our hope that the reader will gain an appreciation for the work of our fellow students, as well as the inspiration to maintain and improve upon Rice's rigorous academic standards. NEW! |
