This show was...wierd. We had written a wonderful show, especially geared for
this long-awaited trip to Army (we were the first opposing-team band to play
there in many, many years), but Army called us up the day we left for New
York to tell us that they didn't think our script was appropriate to the
occasion, so we couldn't do it. The above was written on the trip from New York
to Army, I think. We were only allowed to do a pregame show, since the halftime
was to be taken up doing presentations. Sigh. Maybe another day...--S. S.
