> Girl Scout Day! -Sat. Nov. 14
Girl Scout Day is a great day when Girl Scouts from all over Texas come to Rice to learn about science and engineering. We'll need a lot of help setting up workshops, showing the girls around Rice, and overall creating a fun and exciting atmosphere.

> Project Pumpkin! -Sat. Oct. 31 12-4pm
Project Pumpkin is an annual Halloween Carnival for disadvantaged children in the Houston area. This year, SWE is hosting a face-painting booth, and we need your help to spread the joy! If you would like to help out, e-mail swe@rice.edu with your name and phone number or fill out the volunteer form, so we know to expect you. And remember to dress up!
