Who can join?
Anyone, who has an interest in the happenings in the petroleum industry. It doesn't matter whether you are a Petroleum Engineering major or Chemical Engineering. If you are interested, Welcome to the SPE student chapter!
When should I join?
You can join the SPE student chapter anytime of the year. We suggest that you join at the start of the Fall or Spring semesters.
How much do I have to pay for membership?
We don't charge any membership dues towards the chapter. We are thankful to our chapters' corporate sponsors for making our activities possible.
How do I join?
If you wish to join the SPE chapter activities, you must first signup for SPE student membership. You can do this by going to the SPE student membership page. Student membership dues are $14.00 per year and are covered by one of SPE's corporate sponsors each year. So, effectively student membership is FREE.
Can I be a part of the organizing team at the chapter?
Yes! We are always on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers who can help us organize the SPE chapter's activities. It is also a good way to start if you are interested in being one of the officers at our chapter.
