Community Involvement Center Services
The Community Involvement Center offers several services to help facilitate
community service involvement. Many students receive GIVE A HOOT, the
bi-weekly newsletter of volunteer opportunities and announcements. Students
wishing to volunteer on their own in the community or looking for information
about specific community programs can use the Database of Local Volunteer
Opportunities. Those students looking for alternative ways to spend their
summer or take a year off before graduate school find the Database of
National and International Opportunities to be very helpful. Students
with ideas for starting new community service programs can get support
from the Community Service Grant. In addition, CIC staff is available
for consultation. Stop in if you have any questions or need help.
