Jolanta W. Best teaches philosophy and literature at Houston Community College.

Marek Jan Chodakiewicz is Professor of History at the Institute of World Politics in Washington, DC.

Mary Ann Furno did her postgraduate work in psychoanalysis in the Lenox Hospital Psychotherapy Program in New York City.

Jarosław Kaczyński has been Poland’s Prime Minister since 2005.

Paweł Lisicki’s most recent book is Powrót z obcego świata (Arcana, 2006). He is editor-in-chief of Rzeczpospolita.

Mariusz Muszyński is Professor of Law at Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw and advisor in Polish-German relations in the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Krzysztof Rak is a member of the governing board of the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation in Poland.

Małgorzata Subotić is a Rzeczpospolita reporter.

Razwan Ungureanu graduated from Rice University in 2006. His article is a revised version of the paper he wrote for “Humanities 331” in his senior year.
