Kazimierz Braun is theater director, professor of theater at SUNY- Buffalo, and author of A History of Polish Theater, 1939-1989 (1996).

Raymond T. Gawronski, SJ, is Assistant Professor of Theology at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and author of Word and Silence: Hans Urs Von Balthasar and the Spiritual Encounter Between East and West (1999).

Alex Kurczaba is associate professor of Polish at the University of Illinois-Chicago and author of Conrad and Poland (1998).

Helen Bajorek McDonald is a poet residing in Canada.

Christopher Adam Zakrzewski is a professional translator, writer, editor, and teacher. He is presently translating the unpublished archival materials of Catherine de Hueck Doherty. His translation of Book Four of Pan Tadeusz appeared in SR in January 2000.
