Listen to Weiss 244, eat domino's pizza, and adopt a kid with
some friends. "Adopting" a kid just means buying
them an item from their wishlist, price range will be 15-20
dollars.

Info session on how to bring insurance to needy children.
Friday Icecream
Awareness @ Ray Courtyard, 4-6 PM
Build an icecream sundae and find out about some children's
issues.

DePelchin’s Children Center:
Having some fun
Depelchin’s is a refuge center for teens and children
from troubled families. Rice has a longstanding relationship
with the center and its children. This year, we will focus
on mentoring teens ages 13-17. Activities will range from
3-on-3 basketball games, dancing lessons, and etc. The visits
will occur every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. Nov
12. Dec 10 contact tam@rice.edu for rides to the center
School Skits: Time to shine
For the fun and creative: a group will go around and perform
either a skit or song/dance with a moral message such as “saying
no to drugs”, “stay in school”, “never
give up” or any other advice you knew when you were
a kid!
