About the Rice Pre-Medical Society
The Rice Pre-Medical Society (RPMS) is an undergraduate student-based organization that aims to fulfill our mission statement to educate all Rice students interested in the health professions. RPMS aims to achieve this goal through our programs such as Big Owl/Little Owl Program (a mentoring program), DOSE (Doctors Offering Shadowing Experiences), the MCAT library (free, new MCAT prep materials for students to utilize as supplements to their own preparation), TAP (Teachers' Appreciation Program) and volunteering opportunities. RPMS is looking to expand into abroad opportunities, personal statement workshops, and mock interviews. RPMS will also be introducing new special topic panels such as "women in medicine." RPMS values each member's dedication to furthering clinical experience and education, as well as our community partners' continued support.
