For your third assignment, please think hard about the readings. In particular consider
the evidence that is mustered for claiming that the human brain contains different
modules. Pick a particular module that might be meaningful for human interaction. Write a couple sentences indicating why such a module might be "evolved." Write a paragraph (or two) indicating how you might go about testing for the existence of that module. You should have in mind some kind of experiment that would differentiate between alternative explanations for the same phenomenon. You should email your assignment to the instructors and the others in the class. The assignment is due by 8pm on Feb. 7. Everyone should be sure to read what the others have written. |
