Master Class with Xing Sang

New class:

Rice Students: Intermediate level dance students only, beginning level students may observe for no charge (space permitted).


About the teacher:

Xing Sang, graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy with 1st and 2nd Place Scholarships. He received his masters from the Shanghai Dance Academy and is currently a outstanding performer of the Shanghai Dance Troupe and a much respected teacher of the Shanghai Dance Academy. He has received numerous awards including the best performance award in the major production of "Dreams of Tunghuang." Xing Sang is an expert in Chinese Classcial Dance. He was the gold medalist in the 2004 China's National Dance Competition.

Rice Dance Theatre will be holding auditions for members in Spring 2007. Please note the dates and times and what you are to bring:

All auditions take place in Harjo Dance Studio,
on the same hall as the weight room, in the
Rice Recreation Center Gymnasium Building.

* Wear dance clothes (i.e. sweat pants and t-shirt);
new members will be cast in the Fall Dance Concert.
