Inner and outer protection

  • Drink lots of water all through out the day, especially before, during, and after workouts
  • Wear weather appropriate clothing, allowing for better protection

Allow for more rest between exercises

  • Take 3 minutes to rest instead of 1
  • Proper Hydration/Nutrition

Workout in more appropriate environments

  • Air conditioned/Heated facilities
  • Convenient locations

“Schedules become obstacles!”

Make realistic benchmarks

  • Make a list of goals
  • Remind yourself of your goals and how to achieve them
  • Break workout sessions into smaller increments (i.e. 3- ten minute sessions a day)
  • Reward yourself for having achieved goals

Try something new

  • Try a new workout routine
  • Challenge yourself to a different activity
