:: 04/26/2008休斯顿奥运义跑活动细则
休斯顿奥运义跑活动由休斯顿各大高校学生会自发、联合组织，群众自愿参加。本次活动的唯一宗旨是支持、宣传北京2008奥运会。为使活动顺利进行，现发布以下活动细则及现场地图：
- 8：30am开始在Start Point发放T恤及矿泉水。请大家尽量提早到达Hermann Park （Parking的具体位置请参见地图）。GPS和Map地址：6100 Golf Course Dr, Houston, TX。
- 9：30am义跑正式开始。义跑路线为蓝色箭头标记；可自行决定跑步或者走路, 步行者路程减半（从Start point至Playground）。
- 10：30am全体参与者、志愿者在Playground合影留念。
- 11：00am活动结束，不提供午餐。
- 现场会发放部分义跑路线的详细地图，沿途设有服务点（红心位置），并有戴白色帽子的志愿者负责安全及指引工作。
- 可以携带少量自制标语，所有标语内容仅限于宣传奥运，支持奥运，请大家以和平温和的态度，积极正面的宣传奥运。
- 不喊口号，不做过激行为。请大家注意自身安全及现场的环境卫生，维护海外华人的良好形象。
- 由于报名人数持续增加，我们无法及时加印更多T恤。4月22日以前报名者将保证有T恤，请联系自校负责人或者报名联系人领取T恤；剩余T恤先到先得，发完为止，请谅解。请4月22日以后报名者自行准备白色上衣配合活动，也请大家尽量为小孩穿着白色上衣，我们不提供童装T恤。 我们会提供贴在衣服上的Sticker。请自带防晒物品。
- 如自愿捐款，check title请写：RCSSC，并注明是 run for Olympics。
关于志愿者：
所有志愿者请于8：00am前到达start point，领取并佩戴白色帽子以作标识。

:: Beauty Salon & Dance Team Recruitment
The RCSSC dance team is going to have a meeting this Sunday.
Topic: Beauty Salon & Dance Team Recruitment.
We will have a special teacher to show the skill about make-up. We will also talk about the plan of the dance team for the following summer and semester. We are planning to learn Latin dance and hip-hop /jazz.
Time: 03/23/2008, Sunday, 2pm-4pm
Location: Duncan Hall 1046 at Rice University
Attendee: Those who want to know how to do make-up, and to discuss anything about beauty fair, and who are interested in joining the dance team, are all welcome to attend this meeting. The attendance is limited to students and families from Rice and other institutes near Rice.

:: Spring Break Activities
1. Paintball
Paintball will be held on this coming Sunday, 20%-30% chance of rain, 79F. Seems we need a little luck, however, it will be fantastic even in the rain~ Exact time and place and price will be coming soon, i.e. before tomorrow,since we have to negotiate the price and equipment fee.
2. Strawberry-picking
The strawberry-picking will be held on next Saturday or Sunday (depends on the weather). Exact time will be delivered before next Tuesday, when I think the weather report will be more accurate.

:: Tax Workshop for International
Andrew Lai, C.P.A. will conduct a tax workshop and answer questions regarding filing taxes in the U.S. on Thursday, March 13, in Keck Hall room 100. Please note the different times below:
4:00pm - 5:30pm --> for first and second year students
5:30pm - 7:00pm --> for students who have already been through the tax process, as well as postdocs & scholars.
