rice for life
From the RFL Constituion:
We believe that all human life is sacred. We believe that human life begins at conception and deserves the protection of law from that moment until natural death. We oppose abortion, euthanasia, and infanticide on the grounds that these consitute a violation of the most fundamental and inalienable of all human rights: the right to live.
We reject the philosophy which seeks to impose on the continuation of innocent human life judgments relating to social utility, "quality of life," economic burden, personal convenience, degree of physical or mental perfection, etc. We belive that there is no such thing as a life not worth living.
We shall defend the most defenseless of all human lives, the elderly, the handicapped, and the unborn. We shall advocate and strive to enhance the dignity of all human life, through education and through service to the university and community, such as making available information to assist women and men who feel abortion is the only alternative available for reasons of financial burden, emotional unpreparedness, or lack of living accommodations.
Towards achieving our goals, we will employ any legal, nonviolent action. We will strive always to appoach our adversaries in the spirit of love. Our language and actions shall be consistent with the principles of nonviolence which we espouse.
